This week's event at Irvine Golf Club was played in unusually hot and sunny weather and the course was presented in excellent condition.
In a close finish, the winner was George Robertson from the host club with rounds of 67,74 for 141. Closely followed in 2nd place on the better 2nd round by Stewart Henderson (Hamilton) on 143, and in 3rd place Alistair Belford (Prestwick St Nicholas) also on 143.
In the handicap section, the winner was Alistair Belford with a net 141, followed in 2nd place on the better 2nd round by Andrew Campbell (Murcar) on 142, and in 3rd place Scott Michie (Kinross) also on 142.
