EXCITING NEW SSGS APP FOR YOUR MOBILE AND TABLET

We, in conjunction with "Eagleapp" have developed an APP for your Mobile phone or Tablet to give you another medium for keeping up to date with all the SSGS news and competitions etc.

To install the App please follow the instructions below:

1 Select your web browser on your phone, laptop or IPad

2 Enter "ssgs.eagleapp.mobi" and press enter. The app should appear.

3 Select the "My Profile" button

4 Select "Member" at the top right. It is Black when selected.

5 Access Code is "2006"

6 Enter your name and email address you use for the Society

7 Press "Save My Profile". A box should appear saying "Success...." Tap the box to close it.

7 Press the Home button ( the house symbol on the top right corner of the screen)

8 You are now ready to play around with the various buttons

If you know how to for your smartphone or tablet add the app to your homepage for easy access. It will create a new SSGS button on your home screen.

Obviously there are some overlaps with our main website, however it does bring some extra facilities and is specifically designed for smartphones.

Instant Access to:

- Online Leaderboard for SSGS events ( via GolfBox link) with CSS for the day's play

- The SSGS fixture list and courses

- The SSGS member list with phone numbers and email addresses

- Buttons for Draws, Tee times and Event Leaderboards

- Event reports, links to ScottishGolfView, European Tour etc

- Banners that scroll along the top and bottom of the screen which can highlight Entry date deadlines, upcoming events, latest news etc
